Smile Testing a Muse

Hello,

I have been looking around the forum for information on testing a muse, but have had no luck.

Question.

I finally found a muse idea that i believe will be really successfull. It is an accessory for a certain item. (Lets say for an ipod) How do i test something that has not been created or engineered. I would probably need some pictures or something to show in order to drive traffic and also to have someone click on the pay now. I am now in the testing stage and want to know exacly what to do from here.
Do I hire and engineer to create a prototype?
Do I create a website for the product and assume that people that click on it are buyers?
Thank you.

All you have to do is follow Tim's advice on testing the muse.

So, if it has not been created before and you need an image of it, try looking for a designer with 3d rendering knowledge (maya, autocad) to create a 3d model of it for you.

Next, create a sales page, link it up to google analytics, drive traffic to your sales page, and see how many sales you get

Hope that helps

Smile Thanks

Thank you very much for the response. A 3d image of the product will definitely give the consumer an idea of what they are "purchasing".

Hit up Freelancer.com or DesignCrowd.com or 99Designs.com to outsource your 3dModel creations.

Will cost from $80-$500, depends on how complex it is.
