So I've posted some ideas and questions for my main muse that I am working on, however, I am also working on an alternate muse that could bring in some revenue to fund the main muse.
This alternate muse is an information product, and will mainly be in the form of an ebook. I figure I will test it by setting up a web page for sales with a "revising for second edition" notice or something. I also want to include a free chapter from the book. So, tell me what you think, I want to write an ebook on transitioning from academic writing to business writing. I have learned a lot as a company writer and think there would be a market for information of this kind. Target audience is liberal arts college graduates and those about to graduate. A few things: 1. Does this sound like a good product? 2. Is the market too broad? 3. What should I charge for the ebook? 4. I would like you guys to critique my giveaway chapter. I don't have it hosted online, but if you give me an email address or some (free) way to easily host it then I would love your comments. Thanks 4HWW Crew! *****UPDATE!***** Ok guys, I put together a test website for this product. I would love for you guys to tell me what you think. Obviously the buy function doesn't do anything, but you can submit your email address to check out the free chapter. Any critiques welcome! Hi themadlbb,
From my perspective I was taught both academic and business writing at university. I'm not sure if other undergraduates had a similar experience. But perhaps its something to consider? Btw, I was a finance graduate Cheers |

Yeh, I would imagine as a finance major you experienced business writing fairly regularly. This would be more for liberal arts students who want to enter business. I was a liberal arts undergrad, and had no experience with business writing at all. Any other liberal arts grads care to chime in?

Here are a couple easy file sharing options that are completely free:
Dropbox (free 2 GB account and you can just drop the file into the Public folder and pass the link to the file around) Letscrate (free 1 GB account. they use the concept of "crates" instead of folders) |

2) As constructed, i'd say yes. 3) Read the warrior forum on e-book pricing. Or look @ Adam.sn's pricing. You can do all sorts of things in that regard. You can definitely test this by doing different ads and slightly different products. And selling e-books is a well discussed topic all over the web. 4) sure, i'll pm you my addy |
