Lightbulb Rate my landing page

Hi folks,
I launched my muse March 1st.
http://marriagegreencardkit.com

Any advice or feedback is welcome.

I planning a sales video for the top of the page. Let me know if think that will be helpful or a waste of time.

Do you think I would benefit if I offered a lower cost version of the kit in addition to the premium addition?

Do you think I would do better if I made the page more personal, or is better to pose as a big organization i.e. "Five years ago I was just like you. My wife and I had just gotten married in Japan and we need to get a green card so we..." (This is a true story) or is better to pose as a big organization.

Let me know what you think,
Thank a lot,
Justin

It looks very nice ! How have you been selling so far ? Any conversion ?

Video : No, for your product, it is pretty clear what it does, so I don't think it's gonna be useful.

Don't make it look personnal, I don't think it's the way to go. Look official and expert.

For the lower price, I d say unless you have no conversion, it's not a good idea. But you can maybe ask people to register to get a free report and analyse the difference of conversion rate between both pages. Have you tried split testing ?

Cheers,

Thanks for your advice Liam,

I've only sold four copies since March 1st.

So I thought I must be doing something wrong.

I've spent much more on adwords than I made in sales.
My click through rate on adwords is pretty good 2.5%. So I thought I might need to change things to increase conversions.
Because my traffic and conversion rates are so low it's hard to get useful data while split testing. But maybe I can play around a little more...

Thanks for your feedback.
I appreciate your help,
Justin

I think that you should go for a video for the top of the page if you've been thinking about it anyway. Yes your page is self explanatory but I'm guessing your not the only business out there doing something like this. A video will set you apart and give viewers an idea about who you are, that will always increase credibility, which is always a plus. That is why large companies use the same face over and over like the verizon guy or the progressive lady, it creates familiarization and puts a face to your business. Just make the video optional, eh? Don't just have it play automatically.

It looks good, I don't really like the sales page format in general, I know exactly what people are going to do when I see that.

Yours is quite good however. How many hits did you get to sell those 4? What is your conversion %

I have recently written a post on my blog that looks at social proof as a way to reduce customer resistance and hesitancy. I see you have a few testimonials, but could you find any stats from government, or research that can PROVE that using a kit like yours, or professional (non lawyer) service can increase the chances of success. Go onto some Green Card forums and see of you can find people who have got through using a system like yours.

Here's the post if you want to take a look, might be able to make some tweaks to improve it.

After (that) play with your price point until you find where the resistance point is.

Hope this helps
