Question Olive Oil Muse?

Hi there,

So my boyfriend and I have been debating an olive oil muse for a while. Based on a quote in the 4HB, plus what we know about cooking, many people are consuming rancid or spoiled olive oil.

We were thinking of creating metal bottle that would keep the oil at the right temp and keep out light and air. Not many exist, and the ones that do aren't too stylish (i.e. they all look like tea pots).

The other idea we toyed with was actually selling olive oil in packaging that prevents it from spoiling, such as small volume boxes (like wine cubes).

What I am asking you all is: which one would you go for? Or should we start with one and move to the other?

The Google keyword tool shows high competition for our keywords but when you actually search them, almost none are actually related to what you are looking for. Any help is appreciated!

This is where testing is key.

People's opinions online in an abstract muse like this are useless.

Run tests for any and all ideas that you have surrounding your niche's focus and see what the most successful is.

I'd more likely buy from you a box or other mechanism to keep my oil fresh. Otherwise I'd be ordering olive oil from the USA when I could buy it here in Europe from Italy, Spain or Greece.

I don't think the oil I buy here is rancid or spoiled. I'm quite happy with the quality though it is not cheap in comparison to other types of cooking oil.
