Challenges Planning Travel?

Hey all,

I'm considering setting up a site to help people solve some of the problems that they encounter while planning trips. I'm hoping to focus on the planning process, rather than the booking aspect, where lots of the big sites focus.

That said, I'm curious what problems people run into when planning their trips. It is always a time consuming process for me. What challenges do you run into and what tools do you wish you had to make things easier?
