Default Help On How to Approach a Potential Muse

Hello People,

I have a number of potential muses I'm sorta stuck with however this one seems like the one I can have up, testing and running in no time but I'm not sure how to approach the dilemma I'm in.

Here is the dilemma - I know a gentleman in clothing industry who runs both a wholesale and retail businesses. He doesn't have an online site yet but plans to get one. As a muse idea I was thinking about either buying his goods (wholesale and reselling which is cost heavy) or asking him to provide a dropship service from his wholesale. All I have to do with my online site is find a novel way to market his products to the masses. Profit margins aren't very high but I won't have to worry about inventory.

Any help/ideas/constructive criticisms would be much appreciated.

won't work with stuff you need to try on...you will have returns and customer service issues to handle plus need to buy insurance for public liability. why not buy resale rights to e-books?

It IS being done.

Just be sure that you get the sums right because you will need cheap (free for customer) shipping back and forth. If you set it up so that the buy/return process is hassle free, it may work.

Thanks Paul!

I thought the fact that they had to try the clothes on would be a huge obstacle to success especially with returns and customer service issues as you mentioned. To try to solve this problem, I was thinking of guarantees, a very enticing return policy and most importantly a simple and accurate way of knowing one's size buy using a system on the website. I will be focusing on only men's suits and especially for people in my city, i could direct them to the gentleman's retail shop where they would have the clothes fitted nicely at no extra cost.
Please tell me what you think?

Thanks Sven!

I was definitely looking at using hassle free shipping and returns to entice potential clients.
Also I wanted to know how I would pitch the idea to the gentleman I know who runs both a wholesale and a resale because he plans to setup a website in the near future and I fear he may see me as some kind of competition even though I will ultimately be bringing him more clients. Why would he need me, if he can setup a website and try to get 100% profits?
