Default How not to set up tech repair

I am having some trouble with my HTC phone that may or may not be a technical fault. I contacted my retailer and they started a repair ticket.

For HTC this is outsourced to a "specialist": http://www.eurotwice.be

Now it is already impossible to use my phone to sync with my mac. But then to have it repaired:

"This site requires Internet Explorer 6.0
If you don't have IE 6.0 download it here
If you can not or are not allowed to upgrade towards IE 6.0,
you can also work with IE 5.5 with update of SP2 of the XML parser. Download it here
The site will not work with an explorer version older than 5.5 or a different browser"

I now want to smash my htc.

What a ridiculous situation but what you have written here ties in loosely with a post I have just made about losing time on bureaucracy and endless troubleshooting.
