Default The First Step!?

Hello Everyone,
I guess if I'm going to get the help I need I have to be totally honest. I am totally clueless!
I, like many people, am reading this book because I am absolutely unhappy with the way my life is currently going and it has much to do with my job(s) and income. My father is disabled and doesn't work. Between my mother and I, we each have a full time job and bunch of cleaning jobs we do after work. I am to the point that I truly feel my life is a waste. There are so many things in this world that I want to do and see BEFORE I reach retirement age, if I'll ever be able to retire. I feel terrible for my mother as well, she is approaching 50 and has really never did anything but work. All that work, I feel like we should be millionaires, but we are not even close. Sorry enough of that. I want to make this work so bad. I need some advice. I don't know the first thing about websites, what to sell, how do you get the traffic there, how do you find the places where you advertise? The most I do online is buy presents from ebay and email. And my other big dilemma is money itself. I don't have alot of money to spare and with my current money situation I am deathly afraid of charging things b/c if the first, second even third idea doesn't work. I have to help pay all our unusual expenses and now I'll have more credit card debit to pay. I know in the book he says whats the worse that could happen, but the problem is I have 2 other people depending on me, it would be totally different if it was just me. I'm not looking to have eveything handed to me or expect it to work overnight. I realize there is going to be some hard work and time involved. I mean have no clue what I could sell, or if I did where to get it. So far everything involves money. For example the dropshipping lifetime membership is $200 something dollars. Thats alot of money for me.

If there is anyone out there that was in a similar situation, what was your first step. How did you get out of the hole? Thank you to anyone who has any kind of advice.

Well, just one point from me: if you don't understand websites, don't try and do a web-based business just yet. Your muse should fit you, you shouldn't try and mold yourself to what you perceive is what your muse should be. Try something more local - is there any demand you can think of in your town/city, something local that you could provide? With something like that, you could conceivably start with just advertising in local papers and using flyers and the like. Then, once you've built up a reasonable income stream from that, look into expanding a bit further out, possibly looking into outsourcing the setup of your online presence to someone who can do it.

Start small and gradually work toward expanding. That way, if your idea doesn't get any purchase, you've not had to risk too much on it.
