I noticed one of the premium members on my new site had his own investment firm in Switzerland, and after checking out his company's site I was impressed. So I e-mailed him about exploring possible ways of us working together. I got a very nice e-mail back from him complimenting me on the site, and saying that we ought to set up an appointment to speak by phone. He mentioned he was going away on vacation for a couple of weeks and the earliest date he'd be available would be mid-January. I wrote him back saying that would be fine and to enjoy his trip, and I got this auto-respond message:
Due to intensive research, I am checking my emails only once every two weeks. |

Autoresponder is a spam validator, no matter how nice the message is...

The first message I referred to wasn't an auto respond, but a personally-written e-mail. The second one was auto-respond.
Also, I should add that his auto-respond message gave contact info to his staff, in the event a client of his had an urgent issue. |

So what will you do with the endless kickbacks you will get from spammers as well as the fact that if someone randomly emails you and gets a message back you may have just confirmed that your email address is real... What do you do if you are on list serv's without specifically excluding them?
