Default Muse (pokerfleece) website totally updated, please comment

Hello guys,

Taking all your good advice in, I have rebuild my muse website: www.pokerfleece.com where I sell the roll out poker table tops.

(This is Lisette, our special PokerFleece model)

Please let me hear your comments.

Thanks!

Arjan

Overall I think it looks good, but a couple things:

- Your copy needs some work. There are some grammar problems and it sounds like it wasn't written by a native English speaker. Maybe get a copy editor to re-work it.

- I see you have a video of 3:50 in length on your Unpack Video page, but I think a shorter video right on your main page of someone unrolling the poker fleece and showing just how easy it is to get a poker game going would be good. Something short and to the point that shows customers exactly what they'll get and what the benefit is.

Also- Don't forget about all the other poker accessories you can be selling along with this...

How about a "starter pack" that includes this product plus cards, chips, etc...
I'm sure you can get those wholesale for a few bucks and you can mark up significantly.

This is a good idea for a product! Also I agree with Grayman, the grammar needs some work - it just doesn't sound right at all in some places. It's not a big job though so I'm sure you can ask any native English speaking friends you might have to help you out.

I would also get rid of this:

"At the moment we can supply you with any colour as long as it is black leopard. "

Just say at the moment you only do leopard black, it sounds too chatty and doesn't fit in with the way the rest of page is worded. It really turned me off,

Can you move the page to the middle? The right hand side looks very empty and I think it would look a lot more organised and symmetrical that way.

Also you mention on the FAQ page that paper cards are the best? Is this true, in my experience at casinos and poker rooms plastic cards such as copags are the best. They slide across velvet and felt beautifully. So is this maybe a typo?

Other than that it's a good product, I'd buy one!

Default Thanks so much!

Hey guys,

Thanks very much for these great points.

Indeed I am not a native speaker so the grammar is not the best I am sure. I actually had it read and commented upon by an Englishman. Obviously his English skills have their best years behind them.

The 'as long as it's...' is just a lame piece of dumb copy. Will throw that out asap.

The starter pack is a good idea, had been looking into it myself, but the sets are so tightly packed in these tubes that hardly anything bigger than a piece of paper can be added. But I will do something with this sooner or later.

The part about the plastic cards; the fleeces will play superbly with any type of card; plastic, plastic coated or paper. Copags are great. But some plastic cards don't play as fast as paper cards because they adhere more to the viscose of the fleeces. Therefore the comment about a (personal) preference for paper cards.

Your comments on the video are spot on. As a matter of fact it even had some music (Eric Clapton) and voice over explanation but the audiotrack was cut out by youtube for copyright reasons.
The video needs to be shorter, more to the point, and maybe I will add an animated GIF to show how you get a game going in a few seconds.

Again, thank you all for helping me out!

Will post when these issues are resolved.

Best regards,

Arjan from PokerFleece

Default One more thing

One more thing, assuming some or most of you are American:

How do you feel about the site from an American consumers point of view?

- would you want the price to be in dollars?
- do you think the shipping and handling is pricy?
- would you have the US and Canadian flags before the EU flag, does this matter?
- do you find the presence of metrics annoying or not?
- what would your comment be on the styling of the site?
- do you like Paypal? or would you want to pay differently?
- is this product typically American or very European?

No need to answer all these questions but I'd be very interested in hearing your comments on the point you feel strongly about.

Thanks!

Arjan
