Thumbs up How does my new self-defense website look?

How does my new self-defense website look? I really appreciate your opinions. Before anyone says, "what are you selling?" the answer is instructional services right now. I plan to soon produce a highly practical DVD on how to apply the self-defense systems of the military to learn effective self-defense extremely quickly. What do you all think of that DVD idea - would that be a seller?

Thanks,

Jeff

I don't have much time on my hands right now to go into any detail, but three thinks I noticed within the first few glances over your sight.

a) Your most important message (or at least as improtant as your headline in the header-picture) is the smallest on the page. I'm talking about the "we teach" stuff on the frontpage.

b) Your email and maybe an optin-box is missing on the frontpage.

c) You have a great info-type site, but with only very scarse information on anything but the about page.

In Marketing, the "About" belongs on the Landing page, not on a separate page only reachable through a tiny menu link. Try to think of your Home-site not as an intro to your entire page, but the only thing that more than 80, maybe even 90% of your visitor population will see before they loose interst and click the red x in the upper right corner.

Ony your site, one of those classic "Are you Afraid of Getting Raped by 11 adolescent Elephants and one horny parrot in a dark alley? Then this might be just the right thing for you..." headlines that State a question connected to a fear the subject might have and then offering a solution might really work well.

That's it for now.
