Default It's like Christmas!!!

Tomorrow I meet a potential business partner who will be able to help fund my muse. We both have very similar interests and I think he will be very excited to help

The idea for the site is quite generic and I am entering into a HUGE niche. However, the ideas I have for the site are going to make it a very unique experience. Like finding gold nugget in a gold mine, but realizing there is a diamond lodged in that nugget.

Huge market or huge niche? I'd steer away from huge niches and dive into huge markets. Huge markets means that there a lot of potential customers; however huge niches mean that there are a lot of potential competitors. Just something to think about.

edit: Merry Christmas

It is a HUGE market, over 6 million inquires/month (source: Wordtracker) that I can tap into. However the niche is huge as well and growing rapidly. But this was also true for Wal-Mart, and I am planning on getting ahead in the same fashion: convenience.

The site offers something that no other site I have seen (searching for the past 3 months) offers. As well as some other ideas that will help this site reach a wider audience. I have also brought the idea up to family and friends, and the reaction from all of them is, "Why hasn't anyone thought of that yet!"

I'm excited, I will try to keep you posted on my progress!

And thank you for the Merry Christmas

Edit: Also tomorrow will be the start of a massive viral campaign to get myself out there and my name known amongst my target audience.

Meeting went well today with business partner. Unfortunately he only has access to hard money lenders. But I brought someone on board that I trust and has similar interests so now I have someone else to share the work load.

Talked to some people that will be able to connect me with a very professional web design pro. Might even be able to work for him and learn as I go. And he might be able to give some insight into what will and won't work for the site, so I don't get ahead of myself, spend the outrageous amount of money it is going to cost to start it up and end up with nothing.

Over all a pretty good day. Wasn't able to start the viral campaign But tomorrow is another day!

Hard money lenders aren't necessarily a bad thing if you understand their purpose and what you're getting yourself into. If you have no access to money elsewhere, and need some fast, they may be able to help.

(no, I am not a lender)
