Exclamation What's the best way to contact celebrities and famous business people?

Tim talks about how he's spoken with some of the most influential and famous people, in order to learn from them. My immediate question is how????
How do you bypass the PAs, press, and other red tape to talk with a person of significance?

My reason for asking is that I am an aspiring singer/songwriter who needs to contact influential people in the industry in order to better promote myself and my music. Best to get it straight from the horse's mouth right? The real question is, how do you find the horse...?

Does anyone, anyone, have any suggestions????

Advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!!

it's really much easier than you'd imagine...most of what keeps people from contacting others is fear - of the unknown ---

got a legitimate reason to contact someone? do it. take some action -
especially in the music biz, it's pretty simple.
