Hey guys,

Many of you who have your own website are using Wordpress. Lots of us do. So this should be of use to you, and you should take website security seriously if you don't already.

When I started out I figured nobody would ever hack me. I was wrong. I have had MANY of my sites hacked, often more than once per site.

I eventually learned (through my good friend and business partner) that the only solution to a hack is to completely rebuild a site unless you pay a security expert (like Sucuri) to repair the hack for you.

And then of course there are lots of things you can do to prevent hacks in the first place, which you should employ BEFORE you get hacked.
