I just registered and began hosting friendlyfractions.com, which I hope will become my muse.
I don't have a product to sell yet; I just want to see how many people I can drive to the squeeze page/website and what % of them will give me their email address. I need to make the site now, but I'm overwhelmed by the volume of WordPress Themes, dozens of Google Analytics plug-ins, the thousands of YouTube videos claiming they've got the best way to capture email... What's the simplest way to do this? Do you know of any videos that show how to make a super simple squeeze page using only free products? (Many claim to be free, but then try to sell something.) There's no real free way to do auto-responders that anyone should bother with. Aweber is best in class. You need a provider to handle your optin form.
As for making a squeeze page, nobody that I know of is giving away a great sales oriented theme. Your best bet is to pull our your wallet and stop being so cheap I say that with kindness in mind. Seriously. Is this a hobby or a business you want to build?OptimizePress is a good theme to invest in for a sales page / squeeze page site. Here's an article, BTW, that puts the costs of an autoresponder into perspective: http://blog.outsourcefactor.com/why-aweber/ |
