Default Can You License an Idea for a Supplement?

I have an idea for a supplement with a very large market potential. There are currently no competing products but competing products would be likely to appear very fast. I want my product to be widely distributed before competing products arrive on the market, so I am considering licensing.

I want to license to a company who sells a somewhat similar supplements, is a market leader, and already has a very large distribution network setup.

Is it possible to licenses an idea for a supplement targeting a certain market? If so, what would I need to do to ensure the idea isn't stolen while trying to license it? Would a non-compete/non-disclosure agreement be enough?

If you can help out, I'll repay you when I'm a multi-millionaire.
