Greetings.
I have some experience with PPC marketing, having used AdWords back when I sold real estate... ![]() I am interested in any and all cheap or free Landing Page Optimization training. I'm bootstrapping, so I can't just go shovel $ at someone in exchange for their take on it. Also, I always learn more by hunting down the best deals and less known resources... The trick is to do it while following the rules of minimal info and w/out taking forever. Any and all input, links, details, experiences... will be greatly appreciated. N. |

You can check out http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/
Not sure if there's anything about landing page information but it's free. |

Thanks. I signed up.
I'm compiling a list of blogs and forums that seem to provide free or very cheap info on Landing Page Optimization. I'll update soon. Please add your finds to this thread. Please don't use this thread to market your products . Thanks again. N. |

That is officially the first blog I've ever added to my Outlook RSS reader. Can't wait to sit down and see what that site has to offer.

I was going to post that same link!!! Ash got to both of us. He must be doing something right...
I watched that vid last night and I'm ordering Tim Ash' book on LPO. He cites Jacob Neilson who's perhaps the worlds leading expert on usability. Some of the Adwords training offered by Google is not exactly cutting edge. I think they want you to settle for the high priced words and pay out big bucks. I've learned that you can get much cheaper words by looking for the odd niche phrases, miss spellings, slang... Anyway I was glad to see that they had a very cutting edge guy like Ash on their blog... This week I'll be photographing my product, building at least 3 LP's to test, and maybe running a pricing test on Ebay, though I may skip that step and just run the cheapest adwords campaign I can to test pricing... 30 day challenge turned out to be sales for some software (Samurai something-or-other). You download it and then use it for the 30 days. Then, I assume, you have to buy it. Naturally. I don't want to get hooked on something like that and I'm determined to stay lean cost wise. It may be a good thing for someone else on these boards.
Here are some useful links I've found: http://blog.mindvalleylabs.com/creat...ing-pages/249/ http://www.virtualhosting.com/blog/2...and-resources/ http://landingpagedirectory.com/ I'll edit/post in here as I find more. N. |

Yeah, I'll admit TDC does make things seem easier and cheaper than they really are through the use of coupons and special offers to get free services during the 30 days, but there is some handy information there nonetheless.
