Default Website Template Sites

I have used templatemonster in the past, and I thought the template was very confusing to use (a lot of slices, I guess, which I understand the concept of, they just make things hard to swap-out) I am thinking about getting a subscription to http://www.templatesbox.com/ - it's $39.95 for three months of unlimited access to their templates. Now, if this is the case, couldn't I just download a ton of their templates for future use??? Anyway, anyone have experience with them or others?

What kind of template do you need? I mean flash, basic nice looking HTML, CMS? I had some success with some decent HTML templates but they're kind of a pain to change and only look so flashy.

I have a lot of muse ideas, but the immediate one needs to have a little flash on it - and being a graphic designer I tend to cringe at the really basic ones...but don't have the skills to easily change the complicated ones! I'll just have to outsource that

Some people here recommended Joomla to me, a CMS app. I built my new site using it and was pleased (www.trimuscle.com would love your opinion).

You should be able to get it installed and a template loaded for $100. Then you can modify it or have the dev do it.
