Default Can I forward calls to a US phone number to a cell in Pakistan?

My programmer in Pakistan asked me if this is possible...? If so, how?

Figured there had to be a service out there that did it?

Thanks in advance.

Hope I did not confuse anyone...

My programmer in Pakistan asked me to find out as a favor (he does good work and doesn't complain...why wouldn't I?)

Basically, he works out of Pakistan but needs to get a US-based phone number for his business but was wondering if there was a service where calls to a US-based number could be forwarded on to his Pakistani cell phone...if that makes sense.

I second the use of Skype. I just rented a US-based Skype phone number for three months for $18. It comes with free voicemail, too.
