How do I find one them, becoming an affioiate would probavly be easier but with what I'm trying to do it wouldn't be very profitable. I've spent a good few hours looking on google and have yet to find one that has mainstream books like Tim's for example. Something else I'm noticing is that most of the sites sell a lidt of dropshippers and aren't necessarily dropshippers themselves are they worth the money?

Thanks in advance.

Nolo - You will never beat amazon or BarnesandNoble.com. Not even worth the challenge of setting up your site. Instead of fighting the flow, why not go with them, and set up a sell account on amazon and use the system they have in place already? The margins on books aren't that good in the first place, so there are really no cost advantages with going the drop shipper route. The service alone should eat up more of your profits than selling them through amazon would.

You said what you were planning on doing would not be very profitable. The way you appear to want to do it is not for products with a thin margin.

ps, if you use firefox, they have a build in spell checker.

lol kamakiri I must apologise to you fro not thanking you the first time you offered me help on this and the fact that you've replied a second time I appreciate it.

It's not my own books I'm trying to sell just trying to sell certain mainstream books at a niche market that I belong to on a subscription basis with what your saying about the margins I'll have to take your advice on it.

Thanks for the help

lol kamakiri I must apologise to you fro ....

fro? Are you making fun of my poke at your spelling? Mine is atrocious. I swear by firefox, because it checks everything I type. I finally proved myself right to my father that spelling doesn't count for shit. I don't have to spell anything correctly, but I still do anyway because I 'outsource it' to firefox.

There is a very easy way to check your target market though. Get set up with an Amazon account, and just start selling. You get a cut of anything they buy that went through your affiliate link. If you start making enough cash to break away from Amazon, then go for it. If not, then it cost you nothing.

The flip side of not making much money is a near zero barrier to entry, so no reason not to test the waters with the options available before buying even one book worth of inventory.

I've been selling books on amazon and ebay for years now making a nice profit. Although, I discovered a niche and I'm not sure how many other people know about it and take advantage of it like I do. It's basic supply and demand, I buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying.
