Argh I'm about to pull my hair out. I've been trying to find a good overseas company to outsource too for months now.

I find the most challenging problem is communicating effectively. I give them a project with very detailed instructions and they still don't get it. Project work is done half ass.

Im about to just hire someone inhouse as this lost time and revenue from dealing with this bullshit is not making sense anymore.

Sorry for the rant. lol

how much do you (look to) save by outsourcing? i.e opportunity cost?

The only think it looks like to me is a communication problem. If they do not understand, then you aren't communicating your problem effectively. If you really want some quality input, then post your request here, and I would be happy to tear it apart (read: constructive criticism).

You have someone in house? Why would you look elsewhere, and why would you need to hire them?

have you tried video instructions?
I use camtasia (www.techsmith.com I think) to record the screen & my voice, create a 2-12 min video showing EXACTLY what I want done
usually saves time & hassles
good luck,
mike
