Hi All , my first pot to a message board ever! Have been a successful business consultant delivering sales education and effectiveness consulting to high tech for...well since before email was a common form of communication. I have a product already, but am trying to figure out this PCC thing.

My question about PCC is this; what's the ideal combination of terms (broad/specific) and the number of key words (2-3 or 50-100) should I go for?

You can view the product on an old website of mine http://www.sales-rap.com/salesflips.html. It is a sales tool that helps a salesperson overcome initial objections and keep a conversation going when making an initail sales call over the phone. My experience is business-to-business sales.

My idea is to offer a bunch of versions of this tool for different industries; selling IT networking solutions, office furniture, marketing solutions, staffing, business consulting, etc. and to target people in the first 3 years of their sales career as these are the ones that realize they need help.

Any other suggestions are welcome too.

In return for your help, I am happy to answer any question you may have on a face-to-face selling situation, negotiation, etc!

ok still not sure about the 1st part of your question (broad/specific), but here are some of the things from my report from Bruce Clay:

- title tag should be first, then description and keywords metatags
- 48 words max in keywords
- meta description should have all words that are in the title, and all of those should be in keywords

HTH!

PPC is an entire skill – I couldn’t even write a post that would just fit on one page about PPC. You should buy a few books on amazon about it – the “dummies” guides (not that you are) is one of the easiest reads about PPC

But it also depends what sort of budget you are working with – under 3K a month then read some books a learn it yourself – over 3K a month then use a PPC campaign management firm
