Hi.
I'm 18 in 3-4 months and have plans to get a muse up and running around that time. However, I still have about a year and a half left of high school.
I don't want to drop out but I wonder if anyone knew of a way to eliminate some hours of school?
Thx in advance :)

I'm in the same exact boat as you. First thing I'd suggest is getting rid of classes that aren't "joke classes." Since I'm a senior, I have three PE classes and the rest are easy as well. Second thing I do, which is quite odd, after my PE classes I eat my "lunch" and use my lunch peroid to work/research in the library.
Hope this helps

I don't really understand the 80/20 principle. Well I understand it, I just think it is a load of bollocks.

80% of wealth is owned by 20%
80% of taxes are paid by 20%
80% of bodybuilding gains are made by 20% of workouts(bench, squat, deadlift, etc)
80% of petty crimes are commited by the same 20% of criminals.

I understand the principle behind it.
I just think it is just rubbish.
Someone is plucking figures from their arse. They could have called it the 75/15 principle.
It is general and therefore for me irrelevent.

It could very well be called the 75/15 principle (despite not adding up to 100, lol), Tim even talked about this. The point is that the majority of your results come from a minor amount of work.

Nah ... guys trust me don't slack off in high school. Do the work and get good grades. You'll never regret the effort.
I graduated back in 1992 and at the time, here in Ontario, High School was 5 years. Almost everyone took the 5 full years to graduate. Myself and my buddies did it in 4 years. People thought that was "hard", but come on seriously ...
Our school had a 9-period system. 6 periods per day and a 3 day rotation. In Grade 9 we got no spares.
In grade 10 I had one
In grade 11 I had two
In grade 12 I had three spares .. which meant that I was FINISHED SCHOOL at about 1:45pm every single day because I organized my schedule so that I had the last two periods off every day.
And that was supposedly "hard".
High school is pretty darn easy. Just do your work and you will end up with a ton of free time to work on your muse.
Just be glad Tim wrote this book while you were still in HS. I read it when I was already 7 years into my career.

Haha, awful maths by me there.
That is true, all they need to do is say that and give examples - all the 80/20% is just speculative and someone plucking numbers from their ass!

There's no need for the numbers to add up to 100%. Why do you think that? It just says that 20% of the input, produces 80% of the output.
Wether this (age-old) principle is true or not… Well, does it matter? As long as you get the point. ;)

Stay in school.
Consider the fact that you're using 20% of your life's time to get 80% of your entire education.
If you feel you have met your 80% already (I would strongly challenge this until you graduate high school), try to take business, public speaking or economics subjects that will be valuable to muse creation and business in general.
To summarize, think big picture about your life and how you're applying the 80/20 rule. I say stay in school.

Good point, not sure why I thought the numbers had to add up. lol
