I'm curious, I don't know if many of you have noticed but Youtube now rents movies and plays back videos like Hulu. Some of them are free and some you have to pay for.
I recently made a 5+ hour long documentary / training series. It's cut up in to 4 one hour long DVD(s) and one 2 hour long DVD(s). Sales have been slow through my website, http://www.fitlish.com/fitlishfeet
But I've been thinking about getting it featured as a low budget film on one of these sites. Does anybody know how to do that? I'd think the ad revenue would be pretty good...
I've not seen anything like my documentary yet. It's about the evolution of human foot in conjunction with shoes. Then goes into detail on how to fully develop your foot after growth has been influenced by wearing shoes.

Yeah, maybe I should change the verbage on that. The bonus guides are all stored on the 5th DVD. If you notice one is about making speed ropes and the seconds is on making kettlebell weights.
But ultimately I'm struggling to get any of it to bite. I know it's good. People that bought it are enjoying it a lot. So I'd like to err it as a documentary somewhere... I know there's a lot of low budget documentaries out there but don't know how to get it up online.
I may put parts of it on my Youtube channel as I was just made a partner. Then just collect the ad revenue from it. But problem is you can only upload 15 minute long videos on there, unless you get yourself in the Movies section.
I also looked at becoming a Google affiliate. They wanted $6000 to setup the product and I felt if I couldn't get the sales copy to bite other affiliates would be able to either :(

I might hassle whoever you talked to about being a partner on YouTube. In my day job - I set up our partnership with YouTube and we can have videos of any length (up to around 1 or 2Gb in size).
I reckon you still have some work on your sales page. It appears to cut off just as it's getting interesting and I have to click on a "So if" link to get to the next page. With the next page - the buy link is still too indistinct looking and needs more prominent placement. On the plus side - your copy is coming on in leaps and bounds. Great job.
Steal one of Adam's designs (I'm sure he won't mind), adapt it, stick your copy etc into it and split test it.

Greatly appreciated. I actually put this on the back burner. I had thought about hosting it somewhere for ad revenue...
But... I read some books (perhaps you had recommended) and put them to practice on ebay. I'm creating muses as fast as I can crank them out and they're working :)
Unfortunately, despite how I structure this product on ebay or category I list it in it just doesn't bite at all... Although the sales copy still gets some decent traffic... So I'm at a loss. I'm having success elsewhere right now not sure exactly if I should invest any more time in this right now.
