Hey,

I have a friend who would like to have an App made for his business. It would run on smart phones like Ipod and Droids.

It's a simple app that would support his businesses theme (a real estate school).

Curious are there any shops out there that do simple app development. Where you can submit your ideas and get a quote?

Thanks!!!

There's a whole industry devoted to that. Head over to e-lance/odesk and do some research.

Hey... I'm quite aware of that.

I'm interested if anybody has experience working with companies to develop them and if so what company they might recommend.

Maybe I should have been more specific in my original post.

Thanks!

If you are looking to outsource to a company it might be a little more expensive than outsourcing to a specific individual, there are several companies that you can find on sites like Odesk and Elance that you can outsource to.

Whether you decide to outsource to a person or a company on those freelancing sites I suggest the best way for you to find the right people with the right experience is to search for completed jobs on those sites that are similar to yours, then make a list of all the app developers who got the best remarks and then post your job privately but make sure to only invite those on your list who you feel comfortable with the remarks they got on jobs similar to yours.

This way you know you only will be working with those who know what they are doing.

Also I have done several video interviews with Entrepreneurs who outsourced the development of their apps without any prior programming experience.

Check them out and let me know what you think.
