Please help!!!!

Seems like every since I finished Tim’s book I have been searching for my muse. I have come up with a number of ideas which all seems to be shot down with initial research or come to find out someone else has beaten me to the punch, knew I should have got that book a few months ago! One of my ideas is similar to what some websites are already doing. One of my questions is this; how can people sell past (historic) sporting events (i.e. McEnroe vs Connors –USPOEN Final) on DVD without violating the copyrights of these events?
There is another site that has video’s of past basketball games, (Jordon and the Bulls vs. Malone and the Jazz)… I would like to incorporate these type products into my business MUSE but fear that they have something I don’t, a good lawyer or the know how that I seem to be missing. Someone help!
I know that I should just start something but my passion is not in EBOOKs, but rather in athletics and personal training. Any information or encouragement would be appreciated!

I've been trying to figure out whats eating you for a few minutes. The best I can think of is that you think that creating a muze is just a question of mixing up some ingredients and presto, high income. Of course I could be wrong about this but could it be you are just scratching the surface?

If you want to sell something it has to fill some kind of need for the buyer, it needs to be atractive in some way. If you find what attracts you in sports events you may be able to formulate a product from that.

Good luck!

Thanks Sven, actually I have owned two small businesses but both of them were very, very, time consuming and in the end didn’t seem to fulfill me! So I realize that it is very hard work, all of which seems to make it worthwhile when you find your passion. The issue I seem to have is that my passion doesn’t seem to make money, and if there were items or a process that I think would fulfill a need for a niche market, it’s being done. Thought I would vent a bit, still interested in how these websites for sporting events seem to navigate around the copyright law.

Nearly any sporting event will license rights for it, you just have to pony up enough cash....
