I justed wanted to confirm. Is the PX Method a real product or is the site just used as an example? I tried to purchase it but, the order screen said that the product was on back order or something to that effect. The order screen is a mock-up so I filled everything out with made-up info. I thought this was an actual product but, it seems similar to a micro-test run. Can someone please confirm. And, if it is an actual product, would any admins know when it might be available?

I don't know what the "PX Method is".. But regardless, don't buy it!

Now.. How can I possibly say such a thing when I've never even heard about the PX Method?

Because 99% of any online 'info' product you purchase is going to be a total waste of money (I'm making a lot of assumptions here.. I assume the 'px method' is either a tool, an ebook, or some sort of training)..

What is it that you are interested in learning about? Tell me the topic and I'll show you FREE resources :)

The PX Method is an info product that Tim(the author of the book) sells. He makes references in the book to it. Like how to market your product.

Not sure if it's real or not. Though speed reading would be a pretty cool skill.

Umm., haha., wonder how many people come to this site having no clue about the book 4HWW or having read it., apparently at least one., probably lots more.

I guess that Tims "test" has been online long enough to garner some search engine notice and now people are curious., cool., test success~!

Didn't Tim actually sell that product at some point?

This is from Tim's blog (http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2008/01/21/the-holy-grail-how-to-outsource-the-inbox-and-never-check-email-again)

"...the PX method page is designed as just a template others can look at as a reference for testing their own product ideas.

We are not sure if or when Tim will offer the PX Method for sale, but there are no plans at this time."

I too got the impression it was something he sold at one time!

The basics of Tims speed reading method are in 4HWW. I think thats a good starting point.

Just picked up the 4HWW again, and the PX method is just an example of his 'speed reading' stuff that is not made yet.

He tried to market o0ther speed reading products many years ago, but they flopped. PX is just a template to show you what Tim does.

haha it's a gotcha trick to see who was speed reading his book and subsequently missed the detail that gave away it was a mock-up...

Well, if Speed Reading is what you want to learn - there are lots of books around - cheaper too (sorry Tim LOL) - try Abby Marks-Beale's '10 Days to Faster Reading' to start off with and then you can progress to the advanced stuff written by such as the worlds fastest speed reader (forgot his name - sorry). BTW - the basic stuff in Tim's book is good to practice with.

I think it is related to the BrainQuicken powdered drink too Tim sell through another site but yeh in his book this PX method is a template.

Thanks for addressing me an idea about PX method. This method is designed as a template so that others can look at as a reference for testing their own product ideas. Better first you should make sure that it is a reliable product to buy or not. Anyways, speed reading is a pretty , cool skill.
