Hello everyone,
I am 16 and my dad recently purchased the four hour work week book and I have become intrigued. I have been reading through it, and I want to have something up and running by the end of the summer; however, my interests are so broad that I am having trouble finding a specific niche. I am thinking something in international adventure and/or youth travel. I am very interested in international travel, but I have not traveled that much due to lack of funds, which is why i want to create something that makes money. Another idea i had was for helping students with study habits. I usually end up tutoring people in almost every class i am in. I don't spend that much time studying but i am accustomed to getting straight A's so maybe i have something to offer in the way of studying. In short, I would appreciate feedback on which one would be a better niche for me.
Thanks,
JDM

How about a remote tutoring site? You can do it one on one over the internet and charge less than the going rate for tutors around you. If you are serious about it, you could throw your site on one of our servers. I would be willing to get you jump started as long as you can show me your serious about this. Drop me an e. If you are interested.

Cheers,
:)

Tutoring site would be good. But your income would be limited to how many hours you could work, which might not be bad to start.

Maybe think about a site geared specifically for High school students & college students that want to be tutored by their peers. It can be a message board/link up for tutoring in person. Then also you can do online tutoring. Online might work through something like www.meetbyweb.com which is a telephone conference with an online computer sharing function. It only costs about .24 a minute, and they have really good unlimited plans.

Just some ideas for you! Keep brainstorming and you will think of something>

Also if you're looking more for an information product muse you may want to look at:-

eBook: Optimise your Studying to have More Spare Time!
eBook: How I made extra summer cash using the internet! ;)

The international adventure and/or youth travel idea will be a sound one once you've begun doing it. Until that point everything you write regarding that topic will have been researched but never performed and normally people identify with people who have already done what they're reading about.

Which do you find more impressive and believable:-

"I am a student who wants to travel and here's how I will do it..."

or

"I am an 18 year old student who has visited 12 countries in the last two years. In this eBook I reveal to you my esteemed reader how I did it and how YOU can do it too!"

Plus what happens if someone reads your "how I will" eBook and then nothing works as the book says? lol

I'd stick with the first two and use the cash from those to mini-retire whilst still studying (if that's possible?) and noting everything you've done ready for an eBook on travel...
