Does anyone know anything about using E-book Pro? Why use that over putting your ebook in a PDF form and selling it that way? I wrote an ebook and not sure why someone would use this over a PDF, looking for any opinions!

Thank you.

It sounds as if e-Book Pro allows for a lot more control and customization of ebooks. Did you Google it to see?

EbookPro is a great product if you are going to sell ebooks – I use it for all of my ebooks

It is very secure and helps prevent people from sharing or steeling your book (I can download almost every pdf ebook on file sharing sites for free) – I highly recommend it

Also it has some neat functions like adding video to your ebook (video is the future of information marketing)

But the most powerful function is being able to update every single ebook with one click – imagine being able to add new content or a new chapter whenever you want. If you see a new affiliate product or you create a new product that you would like to promote all you have to do is write a short chapter on it (including your affiliate link) and announce your free “bonus chapter” in your newsletter or forum and BAM instant marketing to people that have already bought from you

I agree completely with you, James.

As a eBook Pro user, I have found the product allows great versatility to what I can do and deliver. I had posted the following earlier in a different discussion thread as an example of eBook Pro. Feel free to check it out.

The following is an example of a video ebook.

Hope this helps.

Are you saying that if I bought an ebook from you on "Teacup Poodles and their Use in Modern Warfare", that if you had additional information and wrote it up, you could "push" update the ebook I already bought, and it would have the new chapter in it?

Or would they download it and it gets automatically incorporated into their existing book, but they have to initiate the update?

Or did I miss entirely?

Too put it simply - Yes

And how did you know I sell ebooks about "Teacup Poodles and their Use in Modern Warfare"? Don’t even think about copying me – Its copyrighted:)

Brett – if you are going to push your website pages with affiliate links then you could at least post some useful information with it

I'm doing a frameset tutorial and for the life of me I can't figure out how someone wouldn't steal it. I like the frameset for tutorial format because you can move through it easier and the menu is static on the left. But maybe there is a way to manipulate the eBook pro so it works like I want. Off to check it out.

Its “sharing” (another word for steeling) that information marketers should be worried about

Lets say you have an ebook – someone likes it and learns from it – someone else asks “how do you know that?” – they say “I bought this ebook – I’ll email you a copy” – you just lost a sale

James,

I use e-book pro as well (1 ebook) and I appreciate the controls and security features, but I also like how I can incorporate video into it as well.

I'm working on putting my real estate investment workshops online, because I'm tired of having to lug my presentation pieces to different venues. So I'm going to use e-book pro as my delivery system. Hopefully, I will get that project done by year's end.

Always,
