Canadian merchant account?

Hi again. I know you must be sick of the Canadian Threads ahah but understand that the book doesnt cover anything outside of the US. So we will just have to bombarde the forum with questions.

I went to the bank to ask what kind of account i need for and online store.
I was refered to Global Payment and they said they take 3% of sales and 5% for international.

Now I'm assumig most my orders will be international... so 5% everytime. Is that a lot?

What do they normally charge?

I am using Google's shopping cart, very easy to implement (copy and paste code) and they just deposit your earnings into your acct. It is free until the end of the year, I just hope the fees aren't too bad after that :/
