Not really but I desperately need people to read this. I am currently a college graduate who has no freaking idea what he wants out of life. I am tired of following the norm and slaving away my entire existence. I picked up this tremendous book and it has inspired me to do something with my life. I want to LIVE my life not just live in it.

Therefore I have made this goal that I will do everything it takes to accomplish. There are so many doubters and pessimistic people who believe what I am doing is a complete waist of time. Once I accomplish this goal I am going to stick my middle finger in there face :)

Now for the hard part; the actual goal. It is currently Thursday January 6th, 2011 9:59 p.m. I have determined that my goal will be accomplished by 12:00 AM January 10 2011. I have wanted to do one thing and have never had the money/time/guts to do it. I want to go on a cruise! Any cruise/anywhere/anytime. I have made a wager with my best friend and roommate that the first one to get 2 free cruise tickets will have his complete bar tab (on the cruise) covered by the other person.

This is not just a bet but a life changing goal. I am going to do this but I have no clue how; I will do anything it takes. This bet is not just for me but to show everyone that if you really want to do something you CAN do it.

If anyone has any suggestions on who I can contact or if anyone wants to sponsor this life changing experience please pm me.

This is for everyone who has been told that they can not do something. Thank you and please help.

Everyone wants to do that. But even from the most successful of us, you'll learn that this does still take work.

Also, crying wolf in your thread title is not the best way to start.

Perhaps a chance at an introduction would be better. Care to start over?

Why make a bet to get 2 free tickets? Why not make a bet to be the first to buy 2 tickets, then the other person has to reimburse plus cover the bar tab? Why even make a bet?

Why not just decide to do it and do whatever it takes to get there? That would make more sense to me.

If you are going to do the prostitution strategy, you will find you'll make more money and faster in the field of gay prostitution (regardless of your sexual orientation). So if you go that route make sure that you stay safe and protected, I wish you the best of luck.

While I agree with the other posters that your approach is a little flawed, I sympathize with where you are at and think that it's a good thing that you've given yourself a goal and a deadline.

My suggestion, off the top of my head, would be to figure out how to buy four cruise tickets at a big discount, then sell two of the tickets with enough of a profit to cover the cost of the other two tickets. I'm sure the magic of the internet could provide some hints on how to get discount cruise tickets, and some creative Craigslist marketing might help you to sell the tickets (think about how Tim sold multiple copies of 4HB to people, by adding value to the purchases - do you have a skill or something you could throw in with the tickets to help them sell?).
