Health Insurance while abroad

I'm going to be traveling to Guatemala to do language learning in December. I have an existing condition and am trying to find out about health insurance. I'm completely paranoid, but if something should happen I want to know that I'll be ok.

I called eHealthInsurance today and asked about what they cover while abroad and they said only Emergency Medical while out of the US. Are there any insurance plans/companies that cover stuff that isn't quite and emergency, that you are just going to see a doctor?
