Just like the cover of Tim's book. I read 4HWW in 2007 and it absolutely changed the course of my whole life. I started a business because of it, I left to travel & live overseas because of it, and now my beautiful English (also entrepreneur) girlfriend and I have managed to find an incredible home that overlooks the beach on an island here in south Thailand (http://www.thrillingheroics.com/change-your-surroundings-koh-phangan) for the next 6 months until we move on to some other destination.

For dreamliners out there, this place in Koh Phangan is less than $500 per month, and it's a fantastic work environment to remain productive.

If I can do it, you can do it!

Tim is a huge inspiration and motivator, and he drives others to be the same, so I'm very thankful for his book and all the ideas he's shared with the world. Thank you Tim!

Congratulations Cody! I have only just started reading your blog and am really enjoying it! (Your bucket list encouraged me to start writing my own.)

Love the place, my wife and I were considering moving to Thailand for a bit, but have decided to leave it a couple of years until our 10week old daughter is a bit older and doesn't need everything sterilized :P

I'd been striving for financial independence before I read the 4HWW but Tim made me look at things differently - a focus on outsourcing and having low maintenence muses.

Pretty sweet to look back and see you're not only doing it, but you've done it eh! I knew I'd run into you here eventually Cody, glad to continue the trek with you my friend, thanks for the inspiration and responding to my business minded e-mails.

You've always done a good job of including the people you digitally and real life meet in your thrilling heroics posts.

I've always wondered if you have a separate business "arm" of the blog as I've done...do you and I never caught on?

Beautiful Bungalow man! Congratulations bro! For those wondering, a basic bungalow, just as close to the beach can be had for as little as $150 a month.

I lived in Koh Tao (neighboring island for backpackers) and Koh Lanta (west coast, resort island) both for $150 a piece. Wi-Fi in Lanta was about $45 a month and utilities was included.

Food is CHEAP, at about $2US for any Thai dish you want or around $5-$10 for an amazing dinner out. I usually ate a $2 breakfast and lunch and would have a $3 dinner.

Cody I've been following your blog for a while and love your layout, thanks again for giving it out for free, that was very cool of you.

Good luck to you and your gorgeous girlfriend Nikki.

See you guys in Thailand!
