My main income source is debt collections. I have already negotiated a remote work agreement. We use VOIP.
I plan on moving to Argentina in a few months. Do I need to worry about wattage issues for my phone? I have tried Skype before, but it has a 50 calls per day limit and I make 150-200 a day, and it often had poor call quality. Are there any alternatives with minimal restrictions and good call quality with the ability of a 800 number?
Thanks in advance!

Check this picture showing the volts and frequencies around the world: http://en.wikivisual.com/images/8/87/Map_of_the_world_coloured_by_voltage_and_frequency .png
Cross-match it with where you're from.
Check out what your phone is able to handle - you may just be able to charge it there (many higher end appliances take 120/240v and 50/60Hz now).
As for Skype- do you have a paid plan/number? If so, I didn't know it was limited like that.

Oh, and check out what Google has going on now. It looks like they're making a move to put Skype and VOIP out of business. You can make calls much more cheaply through them, and I think they have a deal right now that offers free calls to the US and Canada.
Do a srearch on skype on this forum. I have had big hasstle with paid skype, it was not worth the effort!

That's what upset me the most about Skype, it doesn't say anything on the website for the "unlimited calls" that it restricts to 50 calls a day. You can pay after the 50, but I find that extremely deceptive. I checked out Google Voice, but you can only call Canada and US.

Skype is still the primary opiton for both outbound and inbound calls, besides, you can use a Skype Call Center software to manage the inbound and outbound calls easily, check out http://www.prettymay.net

Are you sure Google only deals with US and Canada? I read an article that since they recently opened up their VOIP options the free calls were to US and Canada, but that they still had international options. And, actually, since they're temporarily offering free calls in the US and Canada that they're hoping the international calls will make up for that profit-wise.
