I just signed up for the all you can jet for Sept. Unlimited travel from sept 7 to oct 7.... I'll try the life on the road for a bit and see some cities on my list!

Anyone else here doing it?

I saw that. I need to rain on your parade though. It sounds like a rotten idea. Totally against the ethos of the 4HWW.

Hustle around to many places for a month on crowded planes with a bunch of people who are more harried than you are trying to fit in as many places as they can in as short a period of time as they can.

For that same cash you could do so much more. Burning Man is the first thing that comes to mind, but you also have a host of other options, like a month in Bratislava or any other country where you money goes further than the US.

Kamakiri, I've seen you mention this before; and I'm about to expose my ignorance here. But what is "Burning Man"?

Burning Man (http://www.burningman.com). I am camping at 3:15 and A. Your first beer is on me if you come over to my camp for a visit (and I hope you do).

Kamakiri, thanks for the info. I wish I wasn't stuck in Tikrit through October.

Yeah man! Burning Man. I have been wanting to attend that s#!t for years now. I have a few really good childhood friends that make it a habit to go every summer, they love it so much. And then there's Chris and Cherie at Technomadia who have a Camp Nomadia (http://www.technomadia.com/2010/07/camp-nomadia-2010-a-burning-man-theme-camp/) every year… check it out

I know that camp. The art projects they bring are legendary. I have an early entry pass this year, and will be arriving on the playa on Wednesday. Looking forward to 10 completely electricity free days of camping 4 hours away from the nearest internet connection.

Thanks for hijacking my thread you dirty hippie. I have no interest in burning man.
