I need to find a reliable and low cost person/ company that can create a new website for me using Wordpress and also take my current website and convert it to Wordpress. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

use Elance.com and hunt for a good company with good feedback.

I just did my own wordpress site - I think that the point of wordpress is that you can do it yourself and load a theme for next to nothing.

I use mistyflip for www.paulbrowning.com and www.milliondollarcompany.net which is just about to launch.

Thank you, to be honest with you I'm not the owner of the company and the owner wants to hire someone who already knows what their doing rather than pay me hourly to figure it out and hope it comes out how he wants. I completely agree as well, I'd like to find someone who enjoys making it easy to navigate and be creative with it.

for my first outsourced muse. (www.gamebrain.us) The site is great, but fails in a few areas, mostly due to my own inexperience in telling them what I wanted.

To tell the truth they were a pain in the ass to deal with, but when outsourcing THIS IS A HUGE PLUS! I would never have finished the outlines, text and related stuff without their daily emails asking for more information and directions. It really helped me get the site together.

Last week, I was planning my next muse and asked them for a quote for a 5 page wordpress site design, and they quoted $325, so you have an idea of what they have done and what they cost.
