Well, I 've got my first muse up and running at www.youngdough.com. It wasn't really meant to be a muse at first, just a blog venture, but now I am going to go for it. It is a blog/informational site about everything to do with finance for young people (particuraly students). I have studied alot about this subject for the past few years, am going to study it in college, and I love writing about it. It is bare on content so far, but I will be gradually adding to it.
Right now I have adsense on it, and as the site grows in popularity I will venuture into other forms of advertising, but not too much! I can't stand sites that just bombard you with advertising, especially pop-ups. The site I am idolizing is stevepavlina.com. His site is nothing flashy, just straight good content, and he makes a killing off of it.
If you have the time, take a look at my site and tell me what you think. Thanks!

Looks good. I would say try to get as much info or articles on the site (make sure they are useful and not fluff) or at least make sure they are regular updates, so once someone finds your site they will have a reason to come back.

Also how were you going to advertise your site? or get people, specifically college kids to your site?

Thanks Drewker for the reply,

My priorities are...

1. Getting alot more content on there. I don't really want to spend my time on traffic building when there are only 3 posts on the site so far. So content is my main thing right now. I want to have enough quality content that people refer back to it often.

2. SEO- doing what I can to get my site listing good under multiple keywords in search engine idexes. I also want to do alot of work with rss feeds, social networks, and other creative ways to get some traffic flow.

3. As far as reaching young people, I think the social network thing (such as Digg) can help me there, as these are heavily populated with young people, but this is really the question that I need to have a solid plan of action for.

That's what I'm thinking so far...
