I'm working myself through the 30 day challenge from last year before they start up the one for 2010. I'd just like to hear what was learned from those of you who already completed the 2009 challenge.
More specifically I'd like to know if there's anything in particular I should avoid. Or then again anything I should pay closer attention to. Also what were the most valuable lessons you guys learned from the challenge.
Thanks!

I participated in the 2008 30 Day Challenge and it changed my life. 2009 promoted the Traffic Bug product which I wasn't too thrilled with.
Still, Ed Dale has built a tremendous amount of good will with me. The things you learn in the 30 Day Challenge are amazing. I've since started multiple muses, mostly affiliate sites, but the skills I learned there have done me well.
Stick with it...

What was your issue with traffic bug? I am very happy with the tools they propose but know in some instances there's free stuff available as well that might be comparable.
Did you come across any alternative tools?
Thanks!

I learned some useful things from the 2009 30 day challenge, such as SEO, using adwords and finding keywords, though it's more geared towards affiliate marketing by creating blogs which is good if you like blogging, which I don't. Also took me more than 30 days to complete and I really don't know if trafficbug made a difference or not.

I stumbled upon this a couple days ago and subscribed, and did the first pre-challenge last night (no biggie). What I can't seem to find though is a detailed description of how it works and what you will learn exactly. Can anyone tell me more?
Also, on the forums there is a section called "teams" and I am wondering if it is worth it to join one, or even possible to do so as a 22 year old in a small country that won't have too many (if any at all) people joining the challenge
thanks

If you have access to a computer & internet that's about all you need. I could explain it to you but as the videos progress you'll see so I'm just going to let you watch the videos.
At the end of the course you will come out with an online business. Some materials are needed and thus you will need a little $$ to register domains etc (probably $100 US or so). You can still do this sort of thing without a domain but I'm not sure if they will cover that this year.
My suggestion... Go through the entire class. Just watch if you don't have the money and do as much of the lessons as you can that don't require $$
