Monetizing blogs

In case you guys have been keeping track, I began monetizing my site www.seductiveman.com. I plan on bringing it in low profile as I build readers. My primary goal at this point is to be unobtrusive with it.

I haven't noticed any monetization. I try to read your site a little bit. It has some interesting tidbits, but it hasn't helped me yet ;-(

I noticed a few things that you could improve upon. I'd recommend SEO friendly links in the site (ie. keywords in the url of each story). The Blog Roll links don't work at all.

Thanks for the input. My monetization is text links right now and they do work. They just aren't very visible. The big issue at the moment is customizing the styles.css to make the text links more obvious. I am adding them in fairly low profile at the moment. As far as the blog roll goes, what problems are you seeing? Currently Deucex Imaging is down for a retooling. It is my parent company site. The links seem to do what they are supposed to.

My main focus right now is content. By that I mean posting regularly and getting the content count up. Thursday, my 4 Hour Workweek review will be up. It will also have text links in it.

If anyone has any other input I would greatly appreciate it.
