Hello !
I just launched my muse with Adwords on the 13th of April, but for the moment I can't get any sell (www.sexydancefashion.com). Until today 24th of April I had 977 clicks on my Google announces (I have a CTR for my keywords up to 4.76 %).
As I start to worry about this muse success, does anyone have an idea how to boost my sells or comments about improving the website ?
Thanks in advance for your comments

One thing I noticed that probably won't help was that the left hand navigation disappears once you leave the home page. If I want to check what XS means in real life - then I have to go back to the home page. Your sizing is unconventional too - which means I have to work harder too.
When it comes to something like this - I would copy genius (ie major clothing retailers) and try to make the page for each item work as well as it can. In the UK this would be people like Debenhams and Marks & Spencer.
If I go to this page:
http://www.sexydancefashion.com/tops_skirts_pants.php?view=productPage&product=42&category=7
for example - I have no idea what the fabric is. The photo is tiny and there's no attempt to sell the product to me. Compare and contrast your approach with this:
http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_007010236204_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Women~Dresses
Here the copy sells the product to me. The photography is good. I have multiple views. I can zoom into the product for a closer look. Links to sizing information are close at hand. I have a phone number I can call for more information. There is easy access to returns policy and delivery options. Basically I have everything I need to make a decision about purchasing this product.
On the advertising front - are you bringing people to the home page or particular item pages? Are you targeting keywords which suggest people are in a buying mood for a particular kind of product?
Finally when it comes to online retail - it can take several visits before people are ready to buy.

To me the website doesn't look professionnal enough :
On home page text is overlapped by pictures on my display... that gives an amateur look that might pull off potential buyers.
I wouldn't have put the menu for products at the top, it is counterintuitive. When you click on those buttons, the left hand side menu disappears... another "amateurish" mistake.
And also the biggest one : I tried to purchase one myself and it doesn't work !!!! I can add items to the cart but then I can't access to the recap of the shopping cart and proceed to checkout ! Meaning that even if a customer wants to buy your product, it is technically impossible !
Before launching your adwords campaign, it is fundamental to test all the functionnalities of the website to make sure that they are fully operationnal.
Having said that, is the pricing correct ? I don't know about this particular market and product, but it seems high to me.
Good luck with it, the concept is good as the idea, it is a good niche market choice, but there are lots of improvements to be done !

Thanks for your answers !
I use an application that doesn't request any knowledge to create the website, but unfortunatelly it doesn't allow a lot of things.
I know about the problems mentionned and I completly agreed with your opinions. For exemple I cannot make the left column with FAQ, delivery etc appear for all the pages with except on the home page and I know that their is a problem for the people using Safari, Google Chrome and some other small brownsers to get directed on Paypal payment page.
I have been searching for a long time an application that could be used for someone that doesn't have any specific knowledge in creating websites, for for now it's the best solution I have found.
Do you know a better application ?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried Wordpress? I don't have any experience with websites either but I am using this one at the moment and am finding it fairly easy to navigate around. I bought myself a copy of "Wordpress for dummies", used tips mentioned on this forum as well as the Wordpress.org forum, and although some parts have been a challenge I have worked my way through it, learnt heaps in the process, and got a decent website to show for my hard work!

Hello everybody !
I have just discovered a great site builder that use Flash. Until now it's the best solution I have found to create a website exactly how you want to and with the possibility to make it looking very professional. They also have a great support (sometimes just 2-3 hours to answer). It's www.wix.com.
By the way, after the bad experience of my first test with this muse and before launch it again, I would be very interested by your opinions and suggestions about my completely new site www.sexydancefashion.com
Thanks in advance for your advices

Ok now it works !!!!
Did you get any conversion yet ?
I think the layout is better, but maybe the website is a bit long to navigate (loading time is a bit long I think).

wow www.wix.com looks great does it have a wix logo at the bottom, unless you upgrade? I can upgrade after my sales improve but now I can't ;)
Will they host audio clips?

Yes the logo "wix.com" will stay unless you upgrade to a premium package.
You can add audio tapes, video clips and photo galleries with different slideshow. Everything is completly customizable and you can add a lot a effects very simply. Just a revolution for me after my old sitebuilder !
For me the only "inconveniants" are that with Flash the website can be quite slow depending of the computer, and you can only have Paypal as form of payment (you can't have Authorized.Net which is cheaper that Paypal for exemple). But for the rest just magic of simplicity !

I didn't see the original site but this one seems very slow to me. I cannot even scroll on the front page without it jumping and stuttering. I have a good internet connection and a fairly high spec PC so i can't imagine what others are like.
Some free shopping carts are
Drupal with e-commerce
Ubercart
magento
presto
Just google them to find out. They have detailed instructions on howto get working with your domain but these will give you a VERY crisp looking shop and will definitely help with converts.
