The posts I have been reading on this forum are incredible, and I know I will only receive great feedback.
After reading the book multiple times, endless hours of researching specific niches, and finally realizing a life as an investment banker is not for me I have still yet to come up with a specific product.
Here's a little information about me:
I'm 21 years old, in my last semester at the University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) studying economics. I have worked and volunteered in several fields, including sales, marketing, printing/advertising, as well as customer service. I have traveled to several parts of the world. I have experience with outsourcing, (the reason The 4-Hour Work Week interested me) particularly guru.com. I'm an athlete, particularly snowboarding and consider my self very computer proficient. Markets that interest me and I'm most familiar with include college/university students, particularly tech savvy students and athletes.
Any ideas and/or suggestions you may have, I would greatly appreciate :)

Hire illustrator to do designs for snowboard decks. Find a top manufacturer and have them build boards with your art and your company name on them. Make the designs limited editions.

Thanks neuromancer for the idea, unfortunately after a little research I realized a great deal of capital is needed.
A niche that has always been floating around in my head is an 'easy to swallow multivitamin,' as a student on a student budget I know I'm not getting my essential nutrients each day and a multivitamin can help with this. Unfortunately and sadly I can not swallow a gel cap or large tablet if my life depended on it. I'm still in the process of researching the actual market size and potential customer base.
Anyone else suffer? Ideas/suggestions?

You might want to check out Emergen-C. Great product that has been around a while and fits the bill. http://www.alacer.com/

How about a liquid multi-vitamin?

There are a ton of liquid multi/herbal products out there, but most have preservatives that many people react to. I get a little bombarded by people selling multilevel liquid stuff, and it all gives me a headache due to the potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, all that crap.

I'll tell you what I think the future is, not so much vitamins/minerals but things like choline, omega 3s, and phenols - the cancer-fighting etc. things you see in the news (readily available in fresh fruits and veggies which most of us do not get) - if it were me :) I'd concentrate on the "buzzword" ingredients such as this, just my two cents!

Here's a muse suggestion for you. Learn to swallow the pills, and write and ebook explaining how you did it. I know plenty of people that would buy something like that. I can't help but see the "pill swallowing" as analogous to "muse creation". If you get stuck trying to swallow pills and think you can't do it, how easy will it be for you to get stuck while designing a muse! You can do anything... even swallow pills. It's like Tim F & I both say, "It's as easy as believing it can be done." So blast past your mental block in terms of pill-swallowing and muse creation at the same time!
Just a suggestion...

Here's a muse idea for you. I have about ten original business ideas right now, all of which I think have prospects for success. These aren't e-books or vitamins. Some are subscription-based online info services or exchanges; a few are tangible products. I'm working on launching the first two now, and I'm in the early stages of developing a third. I'd do them all myself if I had the money and the time; I may end up doing more sequentially, as it is.
So what's my muse idea? Come up with a way that I can give one of my original business ideas that I don't have the time to develop right now to someone like you, in return for me getting some percentage of the profits if you are successful with it.
