Hey All,

I am outsourcing my web development and needed some advice.

Once the website is complete, what is the best way to go abouts. Any help would be appreciated. Such as how to have it on dual web servers, how to edit webpages and not need a webdeveloper all the time for maintaining and updating website.

Thanks Guys,

They should state how that is done right in the beginning. Make sure that they give you total control over content. You don't want to have them hold you hostage like so many webmasters do. If you are put in the right platform, you can have complete control of not only content but how each page is set-up as well. You should be able to get a 10-20 page site that looks good and has nice functions, forum blog, shopping cart etc for well under $750, if not $500 that gives you complete control over what you are looking for.
Hope this helps...

GoDaddy offers good hosting packages. If you have a lot of sites, their virtual private servers are a good deal.

For easy maintenance, get Dreamweaver, and do your site maintenance there. It's the best for an html-based site.

Or just use Wordpress.org as a content management system, with multiples pages. It's probably the simplest for a beginner.

Good luck!
