How many muses on average did you fuck up before you achieved some level of success>? I know this is rather vague, I suppose you could define success as over £1,000 a month or week.

Thanks

My 4th is languishing over paperwork as we speak. Here is a description of all the big ones I have tried so far:

(Scroll half way down the first page for the first muses I failed with)

Getting prepared to ditch one I worked on (and received no money, yet spent plenty of ahem "learning money" on) for over 2 yrs. :(

One thing I noticed on this is I rushed into a niche I thought would be profitable but it was not something exactly "unique". I think the beginning stages are where most fail, you really need to be certain on what you want to do and the whole "70% solution today, is better than a 100% solution tomorrow" comes into play. I also played around with another web-based idea I spent a little money on that did not pan out.

BUT I am starting on a potential game-changer here soon, that could be used to help some of you muse seekers/4HWWs out!

If that does not work, then back to the drawing board. Trust me, few people succeed at their first idea! Persistance is a necessity!

Zero for me actually. . . so far.

I wouldnt call myself a success story yet, as I still work my miserable day job, but my first muse is now 2 years old and growing. I still have a lot of work to do, and a long way to go, but It has been good. Good for me in personal development. I have learned TONS about so many things that I never had any idea about.
And I think it will continue to get better.

I'm working on my first. I really think Tim makes it sound much, much easier than it actually is. I'm hoping the effort is rewarding, though.

Both of the muses that I launched have been minor successes.

I worked my ass off to get here though....and I am continuing to learn.

I have spent hundreds of hours of my time learning this game for $0....My hourly rate is probably pretty low, but I am now turning the corner and ramping up my business with the cash flow I am creating.

There is so much to learn...I have made lots of mistakes...bad site design choices, bad article writer choices, database failures and what not..

Don't consider them failures, consider them figuring out what doesn't work.

My current struggle is automating as much as possible - and yes - I continue to make mistakes, but I am comfortable with mistakes now, whereas before I would have been paralyzed by fear....

Don't forget Tim worked super hard before he 4HWW'ed it. I am doing the same.

Fact is, a handful of people in this forum have put in serious, planned, committed hard work. I am building a legitimate (sellable) business, while Tim calls it a 'muse' but I think of it as a business.

I know how to build blogs, do on page and off page seo, run all of my tools, do market research, write copy, analyze competition, explore niche markets, write autoresponder sequences, write high converting articles, write squeeze and sales pages, cross sell, promote, build trust, split test, do PPC, and many more things.

You gotta put in your time to make a dime!

Work on my first muse so far and as it was tested successfully, it might not generate a sufficient income for a start.

The path is long and sometimes it's hard to see that there is no money coming in, but what matters is not to give up, because one day you ll hit what you were looking for !
