Hey everybody!
Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tasha and I live in NYC. Read the book this week and I absolutely loved it. I'm just SO happy that I was lucky enough to read it at such a young age! I've been working since the age of 12, which made me a bit cocky and may have led to me dropping out of High School. While in school, I felt it was a real waste of time and I hated the way teachers talked down to students and made us somehow feel inferior. Well I knew I wasn't inferior and I did plenty of interesting learning on my own time. Just didn't feel the need to learn what THEY wanted to teach me. So I've been working ever since and realized it's not all it's cracked up to be. I'm now 23 and have traveled a lot for my age. Every time I do go away, I always got the itch to just LEAVE New York and start a life somewhere easy paced and relaxing. I'd tell my mom, "I'll just rent waverunners at the beach!". But I knew I wasn't ready for any type of business of my own. Luckily I held out and read this book, and now have a much better understanding of how to go about it. I still have not found my muse, but have been brainstorming like crazy since I read the book. My first inclination was to patent my own product, now I've been considering starting a web based business. I'm thinking of starting a web site aimed toward a small niche, and having everything dropshipped. I still have a lot of research to do, for this is the first week I've learned ANYTHING at all about business. But I am really looking forward to chatting with you guys, you all seem real dedicated and helpful. I was surprised that nobody has started a thread on having Meetings with people from the forum according to location. I know I'd definitely like meeting with some of the future NRs of NY! I think it'd be a great opportunity. Thanks for reading and good luck to you all!!!
All my best,
Tasha :)
