While I am still trying to get my VA's (think I will end up with two) sorted out, I went ahead and "outsourced" one of the things I needed immediate help with….voice to text conversion.
If this is something that you plan to use a VA for, I would strongly encourage everyone to try this service first, it is relatively cheap, totally anonymous, you only pay for what you use and there is even a free trial offer.
Speaking clearly, concisely and in a way that you would want to see your thoughts in text form, takes practice! Consider this VA "training wheels" practice.
I recorded, erased, re-recorded my first message several times before I let it go and I was still shocked to see my disjointed thoughts come back to me on my PC screen. After about six messages now, two at 900 words, I am just starting to get to the point where I wouldn't be embarrassed to ask a my new VA(s), to transcribe messages for me.
