Greetings to everyone. I recently purchased and read through the 4 Hour Work Week. Though I expected to have my biases challenged and come out of it with an entirely different outlook, I wasn't prepared for the kind of paradigm shift it triggered. It seems some part of me was ready to hear what he had to say; my mind has been on fire ever since I cracked the cover.
I've also read through Think and Grow Rich during the last month and within that book the author suggests creating a support group, or a Master Mind. Considering that I lack local support and I have no one to hold me accountable, I've begun scouring the net for other likeminded individuals in a similar position. In order to ensure my success, the first action I'm taking is to close off all routes of retreat.
I already have one guy that I've met with twice over the last two weeks to talk things over. He agrees that we should get more people involved, up to five (including us). He's currently making his way through marketing material such as the PPC classroom and I'm hard at work to establish myself as a Staff Blogger. He'll probably start on a muselife business before I do and I'll have web-writing experience to share with anyone who wants it.
Who are we looking for? Anyone who can benefit from our support and experience who would be willing to give their skills and energy in return. All told, you'll probably want to be where we are, right at the beginning, but if you're further along and you wanna sit in we certainly won't object.
