Greetings,
Anybody out there have any success with firms that automate article submission? http://www.submityourarticle.com/ seems pretty good.
I'm trying to drive somewhere in the area of 300k uniques/month to a niche website (asaneapproach.com) (http://www.asaneapproach.com) and see article creation/submission as an effective way to do so.
Thanks,
ATN

300k per month would be 10k per day. Wow. Lofty goal, which I admire.
Article marketing helps you in two ways:
1) The resource box has a backlink so people can get to your site
2) The backlink gives you search engine juice.
Here is what I think is the best way to do this (I'm doing this right now). Hire someone full time to be a writer for you. Get them to write articles. The do the following with the articles:
A. Post them to your blog. Link to your other blog posts, and main page, and also make sure to throw in links to external sites so it looks natural rather than promotional.
B. When the blog post is indexed by Google (i.e. when you can find it in a search), then submit it to Ezine Articles. Include two links (different URLs) back to your blog in the resource box.
C. When the Ezine Article is accepted, submit that same article to tons of other article sites using a program like ArticleBot (very easy and low cost).
They way I'm doing this is to have my one writer do step A, and then my other guy does steps B and C. They are both in the Philippines. You could simply hire one writer and have them do A, B, C.
You should also make sure to do great keyword research ahead of time so you know what keywords to target. The goal is to get ranked well for those keywords through a variety of articles. 10k visitors per day is a LOT. You'll need a site with thousands of articles. If your writer can do 4 per day then after one year you'll have a pretty good content-rich site. Expect this to take time.
I've blogged about my outsourcing experiences (http://doing-business-online.blogspot.com/search/label/outsourcing) also.

Thanks FC for the explanation, I appreciate your insights and will def. check out your blog.
Yep, we are outsourcing the article creation/posting process and will use a combo of two different VC firms like you doing.
