Hi Everyone,
2009 was a successful year for me. I learned a huge amount about muse marketing and sales, and am ready to build upon my knowledge and really grow my business this year. I have about $1000 a month coming in - which means I have $1000 to spend on leveraging the knowledge I have gained to grow my business faster.
There are a couple of things that were paramount for my success last year:
Maintaining a State of Desire
Organizing and Documenting Plan to fulfill that Desire
Prioritizing and Completing projects
Desire: You know what it is like to be 'in the zone', and accomplish large tasks easily, without distraction? Do you check on yourself to see if you are in or out of 'The Zone'. Do you have specific techniques to move yourself back into 'The Zone' when you have fallen out of it. Learning to maintain a motivated state of mind, believing I can do this, and not procrastinating, are my biggest achievements of 2009.
Organization I was horrible at this. I probably spend too much time organizing, because I am still new to it. I am learning to trust the systems that I have in place. I document a lot! I can get a good looking site up and running in 3 hours. I have relationships with content writers and designers. I have learned to trade money for time and manage projects.
Prioritization You only get paid when the job is done. No one can sell 1/2 a product, or expect people to buy from 1/2 a sales page. Pick the most important thing that moves you closer to getting paid, and do it until it is done. Then, work on the next thing. I only allow myself 2 open tasks at a time now. I have a ton of stuff I want to do, and its on hold until I do the stuff I NEED to do. I want to launch about 5 new sites, but I need to get my site ranked #1 for my keywords first....prioritize.
Wishing You all the best in 2010.
