I personnaly used www.profitlance.com and found the information useful.
I am not affiliate with this website.
Yeah...another website selling the "secrets" to "making money on demand".
To the OP: I did competitive intelligence (aka market research on your competitors, among other things) for 7 years before I took my online retail business full-time.
The biggest "trick" I found in this, from my own experience and in talking with people successful in the field, is that you have to know what you're trying to learn before you can determine what tools to use.
Some information might be better discovered via a survey. Some via a focus group. Some via Internet research. Some via library databases. Some information is people-specific. Some, attitudes. Is the information you're looking for come from consumers, manufacturers, users, etc.
Additionally, the ability to follow information leads, that take you to something else, is important. Knowing where to look for information, and HOW TO SEARCH for it, if using databases, is also important. Look up "Boolean Logic". Knowing the terms of the industry, how they're used, in what context they're used, can make/break a database search. Thinking of terms similar to industry terms can give you additional results.
And, finally, remember that, while it's a good tool, Google is NOT the be-all/end-all for information searching.

Hello this is my first post.
For me you go for videos, I think it's more effective than reading.
