Are there any perks or incentives if you add google checkout to your page?
I am using paypal shopping cart but wanted to switch over.

If you consider having google checkout banners underneath your Adwords ads, then yes. This can be a differentiator that drives more traffic...

Also, google checkout is much more Analytics friendly...

There is NO support and the charge is 3%. My client has had a terrible time with google checkout. But that may be because his items are often over $10k.

Wow, yeah it is definitely a bad idea to do $1k+ transactions thru google checkout and paypal - they hold your money far longer than they should. They do this because fraud rates and chargeback rates are very high on charges of this size.

My friend (and my merchant services provider) is CEO of www.inspirecommerce.com (http://www.inspirecommerce.com) - they have optimized my account by giving me very low processing and gateway rates (bundled together) and and they provide excellent telephone customer service.

So you may consider them instead of or in addition to google checkout.

I had a feeling that google checkout would work better
than paypal.
